COMPANY INFO & HISTORY
EUCARE is an insurance company established in 2018 with operations commencing in 2019. Registered in Malta as an Insurance Protected Cell Company (PCC), EUCARE is authorised and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).
The company was founded by shareholders with expertise in complementary social protection and prevention of professional risks in the Netherlands. The ambition is to diversify EUCARE’s activities in Europe.
The company name signifies our commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of others through our insurance activity in the region. The word “Care” was purposely chosen because being caring is of vital value to our clients.
The company’s business originally started off with Health insurance in the Netherlands, but EUCARE is now expanding its activities to several-and varied insurance lines. The focus of the company is, and remains, the distribution of insurance products exclusively via binding authorities with insurance intermediaries.

Strategy
Flexibility for Intermediaries. Choice for customers.
EUCARE’s business strategy is one of supporting professional and ambitious European insurance intermediaries to develop their business, portfolios and ideas.
The shrinking availability of insurance carriers is resulting in reduced potential for intermediaries to develop their business ideas and portfolios, resulting in limiting the choice of consumers, both in terms of products and the ability to work with a trusted insurance intermediary.
EUCARE strongly believes in the ability of the insurance intermediaries to be close to their customers’ needs. It is therefore important for us that they are given flexibility by their risk carriers to develop their business along their own strategies. Our strategy is therefore based on working exclusively via intermediaries, enabling them to develop customized products and to manage their portfolio, across various EU territories.
In addition, we strive for a flexible organisational structure, so that we can respond quickly to changing market conditions and customer needs.
The persons at the heart of EUCARE come from an intermediary background and we therefore fully appreciate the difficulties, challenges, and opportunities they encounter. At EUCARE we see ourselves as enablers for insurance intermediaries.
The long-term strategic ambitions of the Company are based on five interlinked objectives:
Sustainable and profitable Growth
Diversification by line of business
Diversification by geographical location
Onboarding of selective Strategic Partners
Innovation
